Ivan Toney will no doubt be one of the most targeted forwards in the next transfer window. The Brentford striker had an outstanding campaign last season, scoring 20 goals and being the 2nd highest scoring Englishman behind Harry Kane. In the past couple of months there have been many rumours that Toney believes that his time at Brentford may be coming to an end and that he will soon need a bigger challenge to progress his career. Speculation mounted after he appeared on “The Diary Of A CEO” podcast, where he said that he is a Liverpool at heart but that he also enjoys watching Arsenal and the way that they play football. The speculation is that currently there are 3 teams who have a concrete interest in Toney, those being Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, who are believed to be intersted in moving for Toney in the January transfer window, whereas Arsenal and Chelsea are looking at him for next Summer. As far as prices go for Toney, the rumoured price that Brentford would be willing to sell for is in the region of £50-£60 million, which almost seems like a Bargain in today’s market. Toney is still serving an 8 month ban from football right now but will be avalible again for Brentford from January.
